Official Company Statement: EcomTrade24 Is a Software Company, Not a Trading Platform
Published: 3 August 2026
EcomTrade24 is publishing this official company statement to clarify our business model, our products and our role within the digital commerce ecosystem.
Recent third-party publications have described EcomTrade24 using terms associated with crypto trading, investment platforms, brokerage services, asset management, managed trading accounts and investment fraud.
Those descriptions do not match the products, software or services provided by EcomTrade24.
EcomTrade24 is a software development and SaaS company. We build technical products for online businesses, merchants, developers and digital service providers.
What EcomTrade24 actually does
EcomTrade24 develops and operates software for digital commerce.
Our work includes the development of:
- software-as-a-service platforms;
- application programming interfaces;
- e-commerce plugins and integrations;
- merchant and administrative dashboards;
- checkout orchestration software;
- payment-provider integration tools;
- transaction-status monitoring;
- webhook and notification systems;
- workflow automation;
- business security and diagnostic tools;
- advertising and merchant-growth software;
- buyer confirmation and authorization tools;
- mobile applications;
- and non-custodial blockchain software for supported technical workflows.
The EcomTrade24 product family includes separate software products with different operational purposes. These products help businesses connect systems, manage technical workflows, monitor activity and automate parts of their digital operations.
The names of individual products describe their intended software use case. They do not mean that EcomTrade24 is a bank, investment company, broker, crypto exchange or financial adviser.
EcomTrade24 is not a trading or investment platform
EcomTrade24 does not provide or operate:
- investment accounts;
- trading accounts;
- foreign-exchange trading;
- cryptocurrency trading accounts;
- brokerage services;
- portfolio management;
- asset-management services;
- copy trading;
- managed trading accounts;
- investment advice;
- financial advisory services;
- guaranteed-return products;
- interest or yield products;
- personal investment account managers;
- or opportunities to invest money with EcomTrade24.
Consumers cannot open an investment portfolio with EcomTrade24. They cannot deposit investment capital into an EcomTrade24 trading account, purchase financial instruments through an EcomTrade24 broker or generate trading profits on an EcomTrade24 investment dashboard.
EcomTrade24 does not display artificial trading balances, investment performance, portfolio returns or supposed profits that must later be released through additional deposits.
We do not cold-call individuals with investment offers. We do not promise financial returns. We do not instruct consumers to install remote-access software for an investment consultation. We do not assign brokers or account managers to persuade individuals to transfer investment funds.
Descriptions involving these activities do not describe the EcomTrade24 platform.
Our role is software development
EcomTrade24 provides the technical software layer through which merchants can manage digital commerce workflows.
Depending on the product, that layer may include interfaces, dashboards, plugins, session creation, status monitoring, provider routing, transaction references, notifications, reporting or automation.
A technical interface does not automatically make the software developer the provider of every external service connected through that interface.
For example, an e-commerce plugin may connect a merchant’s online store with an independent service provider. A dashboard may display status information received from external systems. An API may create a technical session or forward information required for a merchant-selected workflow.
In these situations, EcomTrade24 supplies software. The independent provider remains responsible for the service it performs under its own terms, availability rules and compliance requirements.
The role of independent providers
Where a merchant enables an external payment method or third-party service, the relevant independent provider may be responsible for matters including:
- customer acceptance;
- identity verification;
- KYC procedures;
- AML and sanctions screening;
- card or bank processing;
- payment execution;
- provider-side transaction limits;
- currency or crypto-asset conversion;
- refund eligibility;
- and provider compliance decisions.
Those providers operate under their own legal terms and technical systems. EcomTrade24 cannot guarantee that a third-party provider will accept a particular customer, country, transaction, payment method or merchant category.
EcomTrade24 does not perform card acquiring merely because its software connects a merchant with an external checkout flow. It does not become a crypto exchange merely because a third-party provider may perform a conversion as part of its own service.
Non-custodial software architecture
EcomTrade24 has also introduced a non-custodial smart-contract-based architecture for supported settlement workflows.
In supported flows, deterministic contract destinations and merchant-specific vault logic are used to define how an incoming supported asset is handled. The merchant destination and applicable software fee are determined by the configured contract logic.
The architecture is designed so that a technical relayer can trigger a predefined contract function without freely selecting a different merchant recipient, arbitrarily increasing the configured software fee or converting the workflow into a discretionary customer investment account.
This technology supports merchant settlement software. It does not create trading accounts, managed portfolios or investment products.
EcomTrade24 will continue documenting and improving its technical architecture so that its actual role is reflected consistently in the software, public documentation and merchant terms.
Clarification regarding the regulatory notice
On 30 July 2026, the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority published a public notice referring to the website ecomtrade24.com and the application “EcomTrade24 Pay Gateway.”
EcomTrade24 takes regulatory communication seriously and is seeking clarification regarding the factual basis and scope of that publication.
At the same time, the existence of a regulatory notice should not be expanded into unrelated claims that EcomTrade24 operates investment accounts, manages consumer portfolios, shows fictional trading profits or refuses the withdrawal of supposed investment returns.
Those services and functions do not exist on the EcomTrade24 platform.
EcomTrade24 is reviewing its public documentation and technical architecture and has strengthened the language used across its websites to make its software-provider role unmistakable.
Our public pages now clearly explain that EcomTrade24 is not:
- a bank or credit institution;
- a payment institution;
- an electronic-money institution;
- a card acquirer;
- a crypto exchange;
- a broker;
- an investment platform;
- a trading platform;
- a portfolio manager;
- or a financial adviser.
This clarification reflects the products EcomTrade24 actually develops and operates.
Inaccurate third-party descriptions
We have identified third-party publications that describe EcomTrade24 using generic narratives commonly associated with investment scams, fake brokers, trading losses, remote-access software, manipulated trading balances and blocked investment withdrawals.
These generic narratives do not describe the EcomTrade24 software ecosystem.
Publications should distinguish between verified facts and assumptions. The presence of words such as payment, wallet, settlement, banking or crypto within a software product does not establish that the developer operates a trading or investment business.
EcomTrade24 disputes descriptions of its platform as an investment operation, broker service, managed trading scheme or system for generating investment returns.
Publishers, journalists and website operators who have published incorrect information are invited to contact EcomTrade24 and review the current product documentation before repeating or expanding such allegations.
Where materially inaccurate statements cause reputational damage, EcomTrade24 reserves the right to request correction, removal or other appropriate action.
Independent operation and identity clarification
The current EcomTrade24 software platform is independently operated.
It does not claim to be, represent or derive regulatory status from any former company with a similar name. EcomTrade24 does not use the registration, corporate identity, regulatory status or legal history of an unrelated former business.
Any suggestion that the current platform relies on another company’s identity should be supported by clear evidence and should not be based only on a similar name.
Impersonation and suspicious communications
EcomTrade24 is concerned about any person or organization that may use the EcomTrade24 name without authorization.
EcomTrade24 does not contact consumers to offer:
- crypto investments;
- stock or foreign-exchange trading;
- managed portfolios;
- guaranteed returns;
- recovery of supposed trading profits;
- or the release of investment balances after an additional payment.
Anyone receiving suspicious investment offers, Telegram messages, wallet instructions, emails, payment demands or telephone calls claiming to originate from EcomTrade24 should preserve the original communication.
Suspicious communications can be reported to:
A report should include the sender address, telephone number, username, website address, wallet address, screenshots and original message headers where available.
Our commitment
EcomTrade24 will continue to:
- develop software for digital commerce;
- maintain transparent product descriptions;
- document the role of independent providers;
- improve non-custodial technical architecture;
- cooperate with competent authorities;
- investigate possible impersonation or brand misuse;
- correct materially inaccurate public descriptions;
- and provide merchants with clear information about how the software operates.
We welcome fact-based enquiries from regulators, journalists, merchants, developers and technology partners.
